Here’s a simple recipe for Pan Seared Tuna using
Wildlife Seasonings Mahi-Mahi Island Jerk Marinade. Serve with rice, pineapple, veggies or green salad.
Wildlife Seasoning Kitchen
Ingredients

Tuna Steaks (about 1 lb.)

3 tbsp Mahi-Mahi Island Jerk Rub & Marinade
-
3 tbsp Olive Oil
-
2 tbsp Soy Sauce
-
1 tbsp Cider Vinegar

Lime Wedges for garnish
Directions
Marinade Mix
Combine Mahi-Mahi Island Jerk with Olive oil, Soy Sauce and Cider Vinegar
Coat the tuna steaks generously with the marinade mixture. Let them marinate for at least 20-30 minutes in the refrigerator.
Preheat the Pan
Heat a non-stick skillet or cast-iron pan over medium-high heat.
Add a drizzle of olive oil to the pan. Let it heat until it shimmers.
Sear the Tuna
Remove the tuna steaks from the marinade
Place the tuna steaks in the hot pan. Sear them for about 2-3 minutes per side (adjust the time based on the thickness of the steaks).
Serve
Remove the tuna from the pan and let it rest for a minute.
Slice the tuna steaks into thick pieces.
Squeeze fresh lime juice over the seared tuna.
Serve immediately with a side of pineapple, steamed veggies, rice, or a refreshing green salad.
