Really indepth and powerful flavor makes it perfect for more gamey meat—I know it says venison and elk, but I’ve also used this on goat and duck with excellent results. You don’t need to sprinkle too much onto whatever you are cooking for the full flavor impact. Small bottle, but again not much is needed.

Looks and feels more like a rub and works well that way. I tried this on some chicken and it was good.

I love venison and have been looking for a seasoning blend to enhance deer meat. This is a nice and light blend. I think it works well for an after grilling seasoning, not as well as a rub because it's light.You need to use a lot for flavoring, but it's still nice and subtle.Note: it is a powder, not like a rub.

Not sure why this is called a marinade, it’s more of a rub. It has a very unique flavor, quite different than any I’ve tried. I don’t have any access to elk or venison, but this would also be good on pork or chicken. It’s a very fine powder, so it sticks to the meat well without falling off like chunkier rubs do. It’s a nice change of pace from my usual seasoning rubs.
